Sofie Sunday

Sofie Sunday ~ Heart Paper Mosaic Card

Fold! Stick! Write! What craft am I making?

Cut! Flip! Color! It’s a card!

February is here! Just a few more days and it’s Valentine’s Day. Before this lovely day, #Dinoshawn and I will be making another card. We will show you here how to make this pretty heart card! We will be using some leftover paper bits (from crafts that we previously made) to make this fantastic mosaic. This card will also be a great present on birthdays, Mother’s Day, and more! It’s crafting time!

Materials Needed:

A blank sheet of white paper

A marker or a pen for writing your message

Different shades of pink and red paper (can be from crafts, magazines, leftover cut outs, etc.)

Drawing materials and stickers (optional)

A pencil

Step 1. Prepare the card. Fold it in half, then write a message inside the card. You can also draw things and add stickers, if you want.

Step 2. Draw a heart. On the front of the card, draw a medium-sized heart with the pencil as shown.

Step 3. Fill it up! Inside the heart, glue the paper bits just like the picture above. This is my brother’s (#Dinoshawn) masterpiece!

Step 4. Add finishing touches. If you want, add some stickers around the mosaic heart. You can also put some on the back of the card (This step is optional.).

And there you have it! A special card for your family and friends. This also doesn’t have to be a card, you can simply do the mosaic on a sheet on paper for a craft. Try experimenting with other shapes, too! Have a super Sunday!
